Vintage Japanese Yokai Smoke Card-Astronaut

At one time I had a box of nine display packs with 25 different cards of various quantities. All that is left is the individual smoke cards in their original protective cloudy bags

This single size Yokai smoke card has a ghoulish looking astronaut on the front.

These cards have a slightly sticky substance on the back of each card that is supposed to make "smoke" when you scratch it with your fingernail. A diagram on the back shows this happening but I don't believe it...perhaps age has blunted the smoke capabilities. A tissue-like paper protects the sticky smoke producing area.

The front of the light-weight cardboard card has a glossy surface. The card is still in the original cloudy plastic pouch. Un-sold and unused.
