I collected the Pre-War Japanese figural tin whistles but only have a few left to sell. They are recognizable by their muted colors.

Most of the whistles I have for sale date from the 1950's thru 1960's. 

The earlier ones have have the early 50's colors (cream white, orange-red, deep yellow, lime green and turquoise blue).

On the 1960's whistles the blue is more a royal blue, whites are bright and the greens are darker.
