A Day at the Beach
I started to collect Japanese tin sand pails as a way to add to my collection. By concentrating on only Japanese pails I could enjoy the colors and litho that I liked best. Little did I know that they did not show up in the USA that often. Dealer friends who traveled to Japan helped me out, but finding new pails was tough. Internet to the rescue. Yahoo Japan's auctions showed me a wealth of undiscovered treasures and all could be mine if I bid enough.
