This early post war vintage Japanese figural tin whistle shows a swimmer in his old fashioned bathing suit. Perhaps, due to the whistle around his neck he is the swim coach.

Not a common whistle.  This whistle has a sharp double tone. It is 3 and 3/ 8 inches ( 8.57 cm) tall and 1 and 3/8 inches (3.5 cm) at the widest part. There is some age darkening to the whistle on the back, otherwise condition is excellent.
