Early Post War Japanese Tin Top, Blue - Baseball

This 1950's Japanese tin top does not have the original string but I have some that would make an excellent replacement, if you want it. With this top, you hold the wood handle as you pull the string to make the top spin.

The center lithoed part of the top shows baseball images including, a batter, pitcher and catcher.

Condition on the litho area is very good with some light wear and  a small line of corrosion along the edge with the batter. The blue edge and bottom has some wear and discoloration, and the bottom has a one inch long crease and dent. 

None of this affects the working of the top: it spins just fine. Overall condition is good to very good.
