This tin pencil case came from Japan. It is not marked so it was probably for domestic sale only.
An interesting image of an early prop plane flying over farm fields decorates the front of the case. This pencil case is 8.25 inches ( 20.9 cm) long, 2 inches ( 5 cm) wide and .75 inch (1.9 cm) deep.
Condition is good to very good. There are spots of corrosion, especially on the bottom edges of the top lid, some light rust stains inside the box and an overall aged look and a scratch or two.
