This colorful early post war Japanese tin scoop shows a comic looking Octopus wearing a yellow top hat and holding a cane while smoking a pipe and blowing smoke rings. The inside of the scoop shows shells, fish, and water plants.
This tin scoop has a 1.75 inch ( 4.4 cm) top diameter, the base is a bit narrower,1.25 inches ( 3.2 cm). The plain tin handle is 3.5 inches ( 8.8 cm) long.
Condition is excellent on the interior litho portion of the scoop. The blue underside of the scoop has wear near the handle. (look at the pictures)
