This vintage Japanese Fish tin sand mold has embossed detail (scales mostly) and beautiful litho colors of turquoise, red, yellow, green and pink.  A scene of water lilies and swimming fish is on the tail.

The tin mold would be pressed into wet sand or filled with wet sand to produce the fish shape.
This colorful fish shaped sand mold with lovely litho details is 5.25 inches ( 13.3 cm) long and about 1.25 inches ( 3.17 cm) deep.

 I have had one of these before. They are not common in the USA, having been produced for the Japanese market only (so not marked).  Condition on this mold is very good to excellent. The inside of the mold has not darkened. There are small scrapes on the top tips of the two outside fins in the tail.
