Vintage Japanese "Flying" Menko Cards - Lot of Five: Skull, Ultraman, Kaiju
These flying menko cards are so called because there are two notches in each card that when a rubberband is used can launch the card into the air. A depiction of a boy doing just that is on the box these cards came in. It is shown in the photos for informational purposes only (it is not included in the sale).
This is a lot of five different Ultraman, Kaiju and Anime Character menko cards, sold for one price. There is a Skull Head, Monkey Pirate, A Boy and Man wearing helmets, and two Ultraman with different Kaiju monsters.
The colorful menko cards are each 2.75 inches (6.9 cm) in diameter. The fronts of the card show the character along with the hand sign, Japanese writing and number. The backs of the cards have a large hand sign along with a number and Japanese characters.
Condition is very good to excellent. The backs of the cards have some age related foxing and stains.
