Vintage Japanese Figural Menko Card- Samurai C

This colorful vintage Japanese figural menko card shows a Samurai , version C.  I suspect these cards show actual Samurai characters but I can't identitfy them.  

The card is a bit shy of 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall and 1.25 inches (1.17 cm) at the widest point. The back of the menko card has the hand sign, numbers, Japanese characters and two rockets, all printed in a single color, green.

Condition is very good with little or no wear. The backs show a bit if dirt of the ages.
