Vintage Japanese Figural Menko Card- Young Samurai Boy

This colorful vintage Japanese figural menko card shows a young Samurai boy.  I suspect these cards show actual Samurai characters but I can't identitfy them.

The card is a bit shy of 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall and 1.25 inches (1.17 cm) at the widest point. The back of the menko card has the hand sign, numbers, Japanese characters and two rockets, all printed in a single color, green.

Condition is very good with little wear. The back of the card shows a bit of red ink transfer and light dirt of the ages.
