Early Post War Eight Card Menko Sheet- Samurai, War Scenes-C

This early postwar vintage un-cut sheet of 8 Japanese menko cards is printed on a heavy weight cardboard. The menko sheet is 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) wide and 10.5 inches (26.67 cm) tall.. Each menko card is different. This is version C.

Condition is un-cut, unused new/old stock. Colors are bright with a matte front surface. The backs of the cards show numbers, the hand signs, Japanese writing, and images related to the card's front. These are printed in a single color of ink (dark green).

     Different Japanese Samurai are fighting on the four cards on the left side of the sheet. The cards on the right side show War scenes. Japanese writing describes each card.
These four cards show a floating tank (Kaichuhorui),a soldier in a gas mask (Satsujingasu), a Flying Wing (Daiku Chusen) and another soldier (Satsujinko Sen). The colors and artwork are fabulous on these early cards.

Condition is very good to excellent on this un-cut menko card sheet. Light age related foxing to back
