1950's Japanese Paper Dolls- Young Women, Hula Girl - Large UnPunched Sheet
This single sheet of paper dolls is 10 inches (25.5 cm) by 14 inches (35 cm). The sheet is a smooth light weight card stock. The 50's style colors are bright. The shapes of the figures and clothing are pre-punched but it is unused so all shapes are still attached.
This sheet shows images of three young women that can be punched out of the sheet: two are shown front and back with the hula dancing girl seen only from the front. The young women are dressed in traditional kimonos. One has a long dress as a second outfit and is holding a duck...outfit shown front and back. The tall thin woman in the green patterned kimono does not have any extra outfits. The girl dancing the hula does have a colorful patterned short dress that has her holding a basket of apples.
Various small accessories are available to cut out- an umbrella, a tape recorder, artist pallette, vase of flowers, guitar etc. A kitchen stove can be punched out of the sheet along with the figures.
Condition is excellent and unused, original 1950's vintage with wonderful colors and details. Made in Japan for the Japanese market.
