Vintage Japanese Child's Festival Celluloid Mask- Red Tengu

This colorful celluloid mask is a child size for wear in a street festival.  The mask is complete with the elastic cord, not stretched out but no longer stretchy.  Holes are cut out for the eyes, so the child can see where they are headed.

This red Tengu mask is barely 5 inches (12.7 cm) wide, and 6 inches (15.24 cm) tall. From chin to eye cut outs is about 3 inches so only a small child could wear it and still get around.  You are not going to get your big adult head in it.

Condition is very good overall with no dents or damage to the celluloid. There is a bit of space showing around the bottom of the nose where it was attached to the body of the mask. That nose sticks out an inch and 3/8 (3.5 cm) from the mask surface.  Overall height to tip of nose is about 2 inches (5.08 cm).
