Jitterin' Jinn Bonnet Bus Tin Box with Sugoroku Inside, Fan Club Jinn Piccadilly
When I bought this from Japan I had no idea what it was, just that it was a tin box wiith an image of a bonnet bus on the front and there was a sugoroku game inside.
When I got it I figured out that it probably held a music cd. There is a folded paper inside with information about tour date, a foam insert and the folded sugoroku. NO music CD.
The sugoroku has a vintage look to it that is quite attactive. On the back it has another game, possibly a maze. Too much Japanese writing for me to ever figure it out.
It is folded and opens to a size of 16.5 inches ( 42 cm) by 11.75 inches (29.8 cm). The 1.5 inch wide right edge can be trimmed off. The trimmed piece has a die to cut out and assemble plus the band member figures to cut out, assemble and the move around the game sheet. The actual size of the game sheet is 11.75 inches (29.8 cm) by 15 inches ( 38 cm).
Condition : The sugoroku is in excellent unused condition. The front of the tin box looks good to very good with a few scratches and some mottled discoloration in the red background. The back is also OK but the side edges on three sides show light to severe fading and rust (one is pretty rough to the touch).
So if you are as intrigued as I was about this item it can be yours.
