Early Post War Japanese Tiny Tin Bowl-Kewpie on Sea Turtle

This small vintage Japanese tin bowl is only 3 inches ( 7.62 cm) in diameter. It is shallow at only 5/8 inch ( 1.6 cm) high.

It is possible this toy is pre-war but it is certainly early post war. The colors are those early 1950's colors.  The item is not marked Japan because it was made for the Japanese market...depicting a Japanese fable too.

I have had this fairly rare Japanese bowl before. Unfortunately this one is not as good condition.  The colors are still fairly bright but they are somewhat faded ( especially the reds ). There is general wear or fading visible on the red rim of the bowl and inside the bowl.  Overall condition is only Fair to Good.
